Join us for the 6th annual Texas State Council HR Games competition on February 20, 2010 at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in Arlington, Texas.
All students, advisors and guests must register to participate in the Texas HR Games. Your chapter may send up to three teams to state competition. The HR Games are specifically designed for teams of up to three undergraduate students (and/or Fall 2009 recent graduates who have converted their national SHRM membership to professional status).
Interested teams should register by February 6, 2010 and volunteers by February 13, 2010.
Chapters are encouraged to arrive on Friday evening as the events on Saturday start early. If you plan to arrive on Friday evening or stay over night until Sunday, we encourage you to make your hotel reservations early to ensure the best possible accommodations. A block of rooms has been reserved until January 21, 2010 on a first-come/first-served basis at the Hyatt Place – Arlington. Rooms are priced at $89.00 per night. If you choose to stay at the Hyatt Place – Arlington, be sure to contact the reservation associate and reference the Texas HR Games. You will need to have credit card ready when you book your room. The hotel is located just off Interstate 30 and Highway 360 right near Six Flags, The Ballpark at Arlington, and the Cowboys Stadium. Volunteers may also book under this block of rooms.
