Bio: Michael D. Drennon was appointed Vice President, Operations for Parker Drilling in December 2005, with responsibility for worldwide drilling operations. Prior to joining Parker Drilling, Mr. Drennon was program director for British Petroleum’s development of existing and potential discoveries in Angola. Drennon spent over 28 years with Amoco and BP in a variety of staff, engineering and operation assignments. Mr. Drennon received a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University in 1977.
